Laser-scribed grain-oriented electrical steel is produced by applying laser domain refinement to high-permeability GOES. The process refines the magnetic domain structure and can further reduce material core loss for laminated transformer cores with demanding no-load-loss requirements.
Laser-scribed grain-oriented electrical steel is produced by applying laser domain refinement to high-permeability GOES. The process refines the magnetic domain structure and can further reduce material core loss for laminated transformer cores with demanding no-load-loss requirements.
Because subsequent thermal processing may affect the domain-refinement benefit, the selected grade, cutting method and downstream processing route must be reviewed before supply.
| Parameter | Available Specification |
| Product Type | Laser-scribed grain-oriented electrical steel |
| Common Market Terms | Laser-scribed GOES, laser domain-refined electrical steel, laser-scribed CRGO |
| Base Material | High-permeability grain-oriented electrical steel |
| Domain Refinement | Laser scribing |
| Nominal Thickness | 0.23 / 0.27 mm |
| Delivery Form | Full coil; other forms subject to technical confirmation |
| Grade and Magnetic Properties | According to the confirmed supplier specification and inspection certificate |
| Stress-Relief Annealing After Laser Scribing | Not suitable unless specifically confirmed for the selected material grade |
| Typical Application | Low-loss laminated transformer cores |
For conventional laser-scribed GOES, stress-relief annealing after laser treatment may reduce or eliminate the domain-refinement effect. This product should not be specified for a process involving subsequent annealing unless the selected material grade is explicitly confirmed as suitable for that process.
